YOUR INFORMATION

Website privacy notice

How Accendo handles website enquiries, estimator submissions and your choices about email updates.

Updated 5 October 2026.

Who is responsible?

Accendo Consulting Ltd is responsible for personal information collected for its website enquiries and follow-up. Contact us at info@accendoca.co.uk, 020 7523 5356, or 4 Bloomsbury Square, London WC1A 2RP.

What you provide

Our forms request your name, organisation, email address, telephone number where requested, service requirements and message. Estimators also collect the business information and objectives you enter, together with the resulting indicative scope and fee. We record the submission time, originating page, your marketing choice and the wording and notice version shown to you.

Required fields are marked on each form. Marketing consent is always optional. Please do not put identity documents, bank details or sensitive personal information in these forms.

Why we use your details

Who receives the information?

Enquiries and estimator answers are first saved in Accendo’s private website database, hosted on Cloudflare infrastructure. The owner can access the client pipeline, create proposal drafts, record follow-up tasks and update engagement and invoice information. FormSubmit may process internal enquiry notifications. See FormSubmit’s privacy information. Website hosting and infrastructure providers and Accendo’s email provider also process information needed to deliver these services. Authorised Accendo personnel use enquiry information to respond to you.

Our hosting and infrastructure providers include OpenAI and Cloudflare. Public website pages do not require an account; access to the staff workspace is restricted. Service providers may process information outside the UK. Contact us for information about the providers and safeguards relevant to your enquiry.

Estimators, PDFs and proposals

Fee estimators use rules and the answers you provide to calculate indicative ranges. Complex scopes are referred for discussion. They do not automatically accept you as a client or issue a binding quotation. Proposals require human review. Downloadable PDFs are generated in your browser. We may use AI-assisted research and drafting, including OpenAI services, to help prepare proposals from your submitted requirements and relevant business information. A person reviews proposals and approves them before sending. We do not use the fee estimator or proposal drafting tools to make a solely automated decision about accepting you as a client.

How long is information kept?

Retention depends on whether an enquiry remains active, whether it becomes a client engagement, and any applicable legal, professional or dispute-resolution requirements. Marketing consent evidence and a minimal record of opt-outs are needed to respect your choices. Deletion of website enquiry records is managed by authorised staff rather than an automatic expiry. Email, backup and supplier-held copies may require separate handling. Contact us to ask about retention of, or request deletion of, your enquiry information.

Your choices and rights

You may withdraw marketing consent at any time by emailing info@accendoca.co.uk or using the unsubscribe method in an email. Withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out on the basis of consent. We must honour opt-outs before any further marketing is sent.

Depending on the circumstances, you may ask to access, correct, erase or restrict use of your information, receive portable data, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. You can object to direct marketing at any time. Please contact Accendo to exercise these rights. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.

Cookies and changes

On our main website, optional Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity help us understand page use and improve the visitor experience. These tools load only after you accept analytics. Google Analytics measures visits and enquiry events; Clarity provides usage analytics, heatmaps and session recordings. We mask enquiry fields and do not deliberately send names, email addresses, phone numbers or enquiry text as analytics event data. Advertising consent remains disabled. You can reject analytics or withdraw your choice using Cookie preferences in the footer. Your preference is retained for up to six months. Rejecting analytics does not prevent you making an enquiry.

Google and Microsoft process analytics data through their services, which may involve processing outside the UK. See Google’s privacy policy and Microsoft’s privacy statement. Accendo must maintain the appropriate supplier terms and transfer safeguards. Analytics does not run in the staff workspace or on development and testing domains.

Forms capture available campaign tags, the referring page and how you heard about Accendo. The separate optional browser-attribution checkbox retains campaign information for the browsing session; unticking removes this preference and stored attribution. Hosting authentication and security use technical storage and logs.
